Christmas
Stocking Swap
Ok ladies, it's that time of year again. Time to
sign up for the annual Stocking Swap.
I will start taking sign ups September 11st and
will take them until Oct. 9th. I will then match up those
who have signed up and notify you starting October 11th. I will let
you all know when the stocking swap openings will be. I hope to have
two, one in the morning and one in the evening, both in December.
Send me an email to
alaskaquilter@quiltchat.com saying you'd like to join the swap. PLEASE
put stocking swap in the subject line :) Once
I get your email, I will send you a short list of questions, I need you to fill
it out completely. Once I get that back from you I will send you a
suggestion list as to what you might want to put in the stocking.
Stocking swap rules:
You must have been a regular chatter for the
last six months. The stockings must be hand made. No store
bought.
I need you to send me all your likes, dislikes,
fabric, scent, and food wise. We have some gals with allergies. Please
give as much info as you can for your swappee to work off of. If you don't
tell them what you like it makes it hard to pick goodies to send you.
I need your full name, and snail mail address.
I know we all get excited about the swap. But
that time of year is a busy one and if for any reason you don't think you
will have time to do it please don't sign up. Nothing is more disappointing
than not getting your swap. I think we have all been there at least once. I
know emergencies do come up. But I have heard some pretty lame excuses over
the years so please think long and hard before you sign up.
Ok, enough of the mean swap master..lol
I am looking forward to the swap and chatting
with the gals over the months as they work on them.
Hugs,
Janice / Alaskaquilter
